Ruth asks…Causes/treatments for CONSTANT severe heartburn and indigestion?I am an otherwise healthy 31 year old woman who suffers from persistent heartburn and horrible indigestion. If I don't take some sort of acid reducer daily (like Prilosec or Prevacid) I will be in utter hell within 24 hours. As soon as the medication wears off, my stomach and throat are on fire and I have a terrible case of diarrhea! UGH!
- I am not overweight (in fact I am now underweight due to this problem)
