Your Questions About Direct Student Loans
Joseph asks…My student loan recently went into default over the summer?as I was trying to get a low income deferment. After about 7 weeks of waiting on a response and unfortunately I went on vacation and when I went through mail when I returned home the letter stated that my loan is in default now and the 65 days to dispute it is over. It also states that my financial situation makes it difficult to repay my debt *so I know they received my documentation of low income*. Just trying to
