Mandy asks…Do you need a cosigner to get a student loan? If your married does it have to be your spouse?My wife went to a private college while we were married and she got student loans without a cosigner. Now she is transferring to a major university which is way more expensive and I'm not sure if she will need a cosigner or not. I would not want to cosign on something that big since I'm not even a home owner yet.
