Michael asks…why are cell phone contracts so expensive?hello i have a straight talk cell phone currently. i pay $45/mo. for unlimited minutes, text and data. i do admit straight talk phones aren't that great but the $45 bucks a months is. anyway i was looking at phones from other companies, such as verizon.. and the phone i want requires a 2 yr contract. and the cheapest monthly plan is $39.99 thats 450 minutes, no texts. i do a lot of texting, i dont like to talk. so i add the $10/mo texting
